WHAT THIS POD IS // WHO IT'S FOR

THE ROOM.

From 1836 statehood stories to comic-book conversations, this pod holds the shows that explain where something came from. Heritage, folklore, society, pop culture, and the long view on a state that has plenty of history it does not always tell.

Research is the shared load. A history episode is only as good as the sources behind it, and the hosts here know the archives, the county historians, and which family stories to double-check. Archival audio, museum partnerships, and school outreach are regular pod topics.

Pod nights cover archives and sourcing, working with museums and historians, and turning research into a story someone will finish. Between meetups the pod keeps a thread going, and the month this pod hosts, it sets the theme for both chapter meetups.
