What this pod covers.

This pod includes Capitol View, Lady Justice, immigration reporting in Spanish, and shows that debate state policy. It is for hosts who cover the news or take part in it, and several of its members have worked in radio and print newsrooms.

Deadline production is the skill these shows share, since a news episode loses value if it sits for a week. The pod covers turnaround time, sourcing, staying fair when the host has a stated opinion, and keeping an episode from reading like a press release.

Pod nights cover turnaround time, sourcing, and holding a point of view while keeping listeners who disagree. Between meetups the pod stays in touch in a group thread, and during its host month it sets the theme for both chapter meetups.
