Programs for Arkansas podcasters.
We run three programs for Arkansas podcasters at three different stages: a workshop track for people figuring out the basics, a mentorship track for people building their first season, and a long-term track for podcasters who have already published ten episodes and need help growing an existing show.

Hands-on workshops on gear, recording, editing, hosting, trailers, and getting your first ten listeners. Open to non-members at a small registration fee, free for ARKAST members.

How to choose a program.
People often pick the wrong program for their stage. Someone who has never recorded an episode usually needs a two-hour class on microphones before a mentor is useful, and someone with six episodes published usually needs a mentor rather than a beginner class.
The three programs are ordered to match the stages of building a show. Classes cover the mechanics of recording and editing. Mentorship covers the decisions that depend on your specific show, such as format and guest strategy. Long-term support starts after episode ten, when the questions are about distribution, guest booking, and revenue.
