Who we are
The Arkansas Podcast Collaborative is a nonprofit organization based in Arkansas. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you sign up for a membership, submit a podcast to our directory, register for an event, donate, contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter. That can include your name, email, phone number, mailing address, the name of your podcast, and any message content you send.
We also receive standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamp, referring URL) on every visit, which we use to operate and secure the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our site. Google Analytics drops cookies and sees an anonymized IP address. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
How we use your information
- To run member services (events, mentorship pairings, the podcast directory).
- To respond to questions or requests you send us.
- To send organizational emails about ARKAST, meetups, programs, and occasional requests for donations.
- To meet legal obligations as a nonprofit, including donation receipts and reporting.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share member lists with sponsors or partners without your consent.
Third-party services
We use third-party tools to run the organization, including payment processing, email delivery, event registration, and the podcast directory. Each of those has its own privacy policy, and we share with each one only the information it needs to provide its service.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every message. You can ask us to delete your information by emailing us at our contact form. We will confirm and remove what we can while keeping anything we are legally required to retain.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Updates
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will post the update here and change the date at the top of the page.
