WHAT THIS POD IS // WHO IT'S FOR

THE ROOM.

Kat Robinson eating her way across the state. I Am Northwest Arkansas. Sips On The Rock. Exploring Arkansas. This pod is the shows about the place itself: the towns, the food, the trails, the people who make a city feel like one.

Place-based shows have a built-in audience and a built-in ceiling, and the pod is where hosts work on both. Local sponsors, chamber partnerships, live recordings at festivals, and staying interesting after you have covered every restaurant on Main Street.

Pod nights talk local sponsorship, recording on location, and keeping a city show fresh past year two. Between meetups the pod keeps a thread going, and the month this pod hosts, it sets the theme for both chapter meetups.

Put your name in and the Arkansas Life pod leader picks it up from there: an introduction to the group thread, the next meetup date, and who in the room you should already know. Hosts, listeners, and local businesses are all welcome.

This pod does not have a leader yet. The seat is a volunteer role for a working podcaster in the genre: welcome new hosts, keep the thread alive, and run the chapter meetup the month this pod hosts.
