About This Pod

What this pod covers.

This pod holds the shows about Arkansas places, among them Kat Robinson’s Arkansas, I Am Northwest Arkansas, Sips On The Rock, and Exploring Arkansas. Their subjects are the towns, the food, the trails, and the people who live there.

A show about a place starts with a ready local audience and reaches a limit fairly quickly. The pod works on both sides of that, covering local sponsors, chamber of commerce partnerships, live recordings at festivals, and finding new subjects once the obvious local ones are used up.

Pod nights cover local sponsorship, recording on location, and finding new material for a city show after its second year. Between meetups the pod stays in touch in a group thread, and during its host month it sets the theme for both chapter meetups.
