WHAT THIS POD IS // WHO IT'S FOR

THE ROOM.

The Arkansas Philharmonic has a show. So do working musicians, filmmakers, a books-and-cocktails club, and hosts who just want to talk about records. This pod is the arts desk of the Collab, and it is smaller than it should be for a state with this much music in it.

Music shows have a licensing problem the rest of the shelf never touches, and the pod deals with it plainly. It also covers recording performances, interviewing artists who would rather play than talk, and getting an arts show in front of people who are not already in the scene.

Pod nights cover music licensing, recording live performance, and interviewing artists who would rather be playing. Between meetups the pod keeps a thread going, and the month this pod hosts, it sets the theme for both chapter meetups.

GET IN THIS POD.

Put your name in and the Music & Arts pod leader picks it up from there: an introduction to the group thread, the next meetup date, and who in the room you should already know. Hosts, listeners, and local businesses are all welcome.

POD LEADER.

Seat open

This pod does not have a leader yet. The seat is a volunteer role for a working podcaster in the genre: welcome new hosts, keep the thread alive, and run the chapter meetup the month this pod hosts.
