POD LEADERS // THE APPLICATION

LEAD A POD.

Ten pods, ten seats. A pod leader is a working Arkansas podcaster who runs the room for their genre: welcomes new hosts, keeps the group thread alive between meetups, and hosts the chapter meetup the month their pod is up.

WHAT THE SEAT ASKS // PLAIN TERMS

WHAT A LEADER DOES.

Host one month

Your pod hosts the Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas meetups once a year. You pick the theme, line up the guests or the show-and-tell, and run the room.

Keep the thread

Between meetups the pod lives in a group thread. The leader keeps it moving: new-show welcomes, gear questions, guest swaps, the occasional listening party.

Know the room

You do not have to be the biggest show in the genre. You have to know the genre, show up, and be the person who introduces two hosts who should already know each other.

Volunteer seat. A couple of hours a month most months, more the month you host. Leaders serve a one-year term and can run it back.
