Pod Leaders

LEAD A POD.

Each of the ten pods has one leader seat. A pod leader is a working Arkansas podcaster who welcomes new hosts into the genre group, keeps the group thread active between meetups, and hosts the chapter meetup during their pod’s month.

Responsibilities

WHAT A LEADER DOES.

Host one month

Your pod hosts the Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas meetups once a year. The leader picks the theme, lines up guests or clip playback, and runs the meeting.

Keep the thread

Between meetups the pod communicates in a group thread. The leader keeps it active by welcoming new shows, answering equipment questions, passing along guest contacts, and organizing occasional listening parties.

Know the genre

Audience size is not a requirement for the seat. The leader needs to know the genre, attend the meetups, and introduce hosts in the pod to each other.

The seat is unpaid. It takes about two hours a month, and more during the month your pod hosts. Leaders serve a one-year term and may serve again.
